Background

• Lisenby Spray Foam Insulation Services is owned and operated by Mark and Lynda Lisenby.
• Mark crosses all trades and carries a current General Contractor’s license, an HVAC Refrigeration license, and an Asbestos and Lead Paint Renovators license.
• Mark purchased his first rental property in 2007, which was a 4-unit in Neillsville, WI. This purchase launched Lisenby Properties, LLC. The money needed for the down payment came from selling beef cattle. This building was uninhabitable at the time of purchase, was renovated and full of tenants within 60 days.
• Mark had opportunities to purchase additional properties, however the bank needed to see two years of successful history with the rental before it would grant a loan.
• After two years of success, Lisenby Properties was approached by two different banks to purchase their most distressed foreclosure properties.
• In 2009, Lisenby Properties purchased another 4-unit building and three duplexes in Neillsville. Like the first building, each of these buildings needed to be gutted before occupancy.
• Mark began contracting for spray foam insulation services from local vendors and was amazed at the energy efficiency achieved.
• Mark uses spray foam insulation exclusively in all his rental properties. Our tenants are extremely happy with the low heating and cooling costs.
